Here are a few of the questions I've had about religion - mainly the Christianity I was brought up in. The questions are not new, but some of the answers are original enough that I haven't heard them elsewhere. You may have similar questions, and if so I hope these thoughts are helpful to you. Does God exist ?

Wrong question. Ask the right one if you want to find an answer.

Is God a killjoy who regards lots of fun things to be sin ?

Fun for you may not be fun for everyone. You need a bigger view.

Why does God allow suffering if he is powerful enough to stop it ?

There would be consequences - think about it.

God expects us all to worship him - is he some kind of egomaniac ?

Check your mirror for an egomaniac. Worship is not just therapeutic, but may be also unimaginably important.

How can the Bible be true when evolution contradicts it ?

How can a caring God possibly send anyone to hell ?

Tough love, anyone ? Hell sounds really tough !

What about those who have never heard of Jesus ?

Is there a right religion ?   Faith is usually in spite of religion, not because of it.

Power and authority are not the same, but authority carries responsibility.
